Preference given to Olympia Basic Climbing students needing a glacier climb. Day 1: Leave midafternoon. Drive to trailhead at Sloan Creek Campground. Day 2: Hike to White Pass via North Fork Sauk Trail. Continue on way trail past White Mtn. Then cross-country to White Chuck Basin and camp. Day 3: Ascend lower Disappointment Cleaver, then Gerdine and Cool Glacier to summit. Descend and hike part way out. Day 4: Finish hike out.
