Frontcountry Trail Run - Golden Gardens

*MORNING* stair conditioning workout. Join us for a morning conditioning run at Golden Gardens. We will be doing stair repeats on the Golden Gardens stairs :)

We will meet at 6:30am at the south side of the Bathhouse.

We will be doing stair repeats at the Golden Gardens stairs.  This is an elevation gain workout, and everyone will be going at their own pace, ideally for 15-30min.


  1. 1 mile warmup
  2. Group stair drills (duck walk, pigeon walk, side winders, step skips)
  3. Self paced stairs with different techniques (15-30min)
  4. Cool down stair lap 
  5. (optional) Cool down  to Sunset Hill park and back

Each rep up the stairs is about 220ft of elevation.

Conditioning workouts take anywhere from 1-1.5h.  We will never be more than a half mile away from the cars, so you do not need a running pack unless you want to wear it for training.

There are bathrooms and water fountains at the park.
