Meet 8:30 a.m. at the Chirico TH parking lot.
Drive Directions: From I-90 in Issaquah take Exit 17 (Front Street) and head south on Front Street through the old part of town. At the south end of town, Front Street changes names to Issaquah Hobart Road. At 3 miles from I-90, turn into the large graveled parking area on the left adjacent to the paraglider landing field.
This is a good conditioning hike, with some strenuous steep sections. Please be able to hike on a fairly steep grade at a steady moderate pace. However as this is a conditioning hike, participants are welcome to hike at a faster pace to Poo Poo Point, but thereafter, because of the many junctions, we'll keep the group closer together.
No Pass is required for this TH parking lot.
Microspikes and poles are required, as part of winter gear.
I'll be sending out an email a couple days before the hike with more details.
