Day Hike - Tacoma Narrows Bridge

On this Family evening hike, we will experience the thrill of being on the Tacoma Narrows bridge, looking up and down Puget Sound at boats, birds, and mountains! Walking the Bridge is a cool experience for kids and their accompanying adults! We may include some stewardship litter pick up if conditions allow.

  • Easy
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 3.4 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 350 ft

We will meet in Tacoma at 6:30 and have a short walk before arriving at the bridge.

We should be done by about 8:30

An alternative activity will be offered if too rainy or windy or hot.

In good conditions this is windy---part of the fun!

You will need to be comfortable with a busy road being in close proximity with lots of noise.

This is best for kids 5 and up.

Bring binoculars for looking at birds and sealife.

We will share a special snack together en route.
