Day Hike - Suiattle River

Trip

Day Hike - Suiattle River

Old growth trees, a glacial river, and lots of green. Time (daylight) permitting, we will hike all of the way to the bridge over the river.

  • Very Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 15.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,000 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 2,500 ft
  • Pace: 2.25-2.5, not much gain or steep tread, no maximum

5:45 at the southern corner of the Ash Way Park and Ride or 8:00 AM at the trailhead.

It sounds like there are no challenges on this trail. The washout WTA mentions is easily traversed (from what I read).  We have 8 hours of daylight to hike 15 miles.
