Day Hike - Stirrup Lake from Stampede Pass
This is a 10 mile round trip hike on the Pacific Crest trail to the Stirrup Lake trail ,and then to Stirrup Lake. There are views of surrounding Peaks and a beautiful forest landscape . We may go beyond the Lake a short distance to Meadow Pass .

We will meet at the trail head at 8:00 am . There will be two carpool sites . The first is Green Lake Park and Ride , North side of 65th under the freeway. We plan to meet there at 6:00 am and leaving at 6:15 am . The Preston Park and Ride hikers will meet there at 6:45 am and leaving for the trail head at 7:00 am . Drive East on I-90 to exit 62 . Turn right at the exit and drive 5 miles to the Stampede Pass PCT parking on FS Rd 54 . Along the route is a turn to the left on FS Rd 41 . Go straight at that intersection to the Pass on No. 54. The PCT head is not marked and if you proceed to Lizard Lake ,you have gone too far. There is plenty of parking at this trail head site.
