  • 8:00am, ready to hike. Sycamore Access TH is in a housing development with no road shoulders and off-road parking for 1 (maybe 2) vehicles. Due to this limited access, we will meet at the Rainier Trail TH in Issaquah on 2nd Ave SE near the intersection with Front Street. There, we will get into two vehicles and drive to the Sycamore Access TH. Map of Rainier Trail TH location - https://goo.gl/maps/qAW45WSQGToayhSo8  Be sure to factor in the morning commuter traffic through Issaquah to your travel time. This location is near Issaquah HS and student sometimes park in this location.
  • No parking pass required.
  • Weather - NWS Forecast
  • GPS route and additional info will be sent in the Hello Hiker pre-trip email
  • Mini-conditioning is the goal of this series of eight Feb-Mar Wednesday morning hikes. See complete hike list HERE
  • This is not a beginner hike series. If you don't have hikes on your 2023 Activity Profile, you will be removed from the roster.
  • The expectation is that you are a seasoned hiker in adequate condition; except, like me, you haven’t done much hiking since last year. This is your opportunity to organize your morning, your gear and practice getting your prepared-self to the trailhead on time.
  • Hikes in this series are 3-8 miles and 600’-2100’ elevation gain with a target 1.75-2mph average moving pace. The distance and/or gain progresses with each hike.
  • If you’re a lot slower or faster than the stated pace, these hikes are NOT for you. We hike together as a group.
  • Unless there are hazardous trail or road conditions, we will hike in all weather conditions.
