Spring hike up the Rattlesnake Lake trail to East Peak

Meet at 9:00 am at the trailhead at Rattlesnake Natural Recreation area (no pass needed), or may arrange local carpools with the group.

We will hike from the gate on the North side of the lake, near the parking lot to Rattlesnake ledge and beyond to East Peak.  This is a well- maintained, busy trail through the forest with views of the Cedar River watershed, Mount Si, Mount Washington, Rattlesnake Lake and Chester Morse Lake.

Total of 7.6 mi round trip

Bring a lunch and plenty of water.
