Paradise Inn:
Meet at 8am on the backside of Paradise Inn in the parking lot reserved for guests of the Inn. There is a fee to enter the park (unless you have a pass). We will depart promptly at 8:10am, so please don't be late!

PLEASE DON'T REGISTER UNTIL YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE NOTES BELOW, YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE AND THE MEETING TIME AND LOCATION WORK FOR YOU.

If you are hoping for a ride you will have a better chance if you set your profile to "Open" and provide carpool information such as the area you live in and  locations you can reach by transit to meet a driver.

BY REGISTERING THIS LEADER CONSIDERS YOU MADE A COMMITMENT TO THE TRIP. It's only good form to cancel in the event of an injury, illness or an emergency. Even if there are people on the wait list it's often difficult to move them up close to the trip date. THANK YOU!

Starting at the Paradise Inn, we will take the Skyline Trail to Myrtle Falls (.5 miles). We'll continue onto the Golden Gate Trail to where it connects with the Skyline Trail (1.5 miles). At that point, we'll decide if we want to take Skyline back to the Visitor's Center (Option 1 - 3.5 miles round trip) or head higher up Skyline towards Panorama Point and around (Option 2 - 4.5 miles round trip).

Our pace will be slower 1-2mph, since we'll be stopping often to take photos. Everyone will need to stay between me (the leader) and the co-leader bringing up the rear.

Note: I will be camping at Cougar Rock Campground on the 19th so I can already be in the park for the early hike. I will be in site B007. If you wish to make your own reservation, go here.
