We will meet at the Puyallup South Hill Park N Ride, Hwy 512 and 94th Ave. S (near west end of South Hill mall), at 7:30 AM. We will then car pool to Mt. Rainier NP. Entrance Fee required at Park entrance.
This is an in-and-out trail to Palisades Lake, starting high then dropping down into woods, past some lakes. Some parts of the trail may still have hard snow, so bring trekking poles and/or traction (micro-spikes) devices. There will be possible side trips to Hidden Lake and/or Brown Peak (supposed to have great views of Mt. Rainier!), depending upon group desires and/or ability. We will see but no promises! Also bring your eye for possible pictures! (stops for taking photo's will be allowed!)
