This will be in Pierce County, during phase 2. Face mask/covering and social distancing required.
A good portion of this hike will be in the 'open', exposed to sunlight. Be sure to bring sun protection!
We will meet at the Puyallup/South Hill Park N Ride, near hwy 512 and 9th St. SW, at 6:30 AM to caravan to the trailhead. Northwest Forest Parking Pass required. Note: Part of the drive will be on a dirt Forest Service road, likely dusty, uneven, and with occasional pot-holes.
Per Snoqualmie National Forest ranger recommendation, We will be traveling to the trailhead via Hwy 410 to FR 72, then to the trailhead.
