This will be a early start due to limited parking and we want to climb up before it gets hot. Please preview the route on All Trails to understand this endurance hike. Carpooling is encouraged for limited trail head parking.

The trail is long, starts in shady forest, pass through a wildflower scree field, a shady creek camping area then last push up on an exposed basin to the view point saddle.
