Day Hike - Lime Kiln Trail

This pretty and woodsy trail passes historical relics and includes a lollipop loop at the end, paralleling the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River.

  • Mileage: 7.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 625 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 750 ft
  • Pace: 1.7 - 2.0 mph

Meet at the Lime Kiln TH, ready to hike, at 10am.

This is a mentored hike for adult humans.

Please note: Linda is the Primary Leader for this hike and Marie is the Mentored Leader. Due to a technical glitch, we were not able to update the roles on the activity listing.

We will hike at at relaxed to moderate pace (1.7 to 2.0 mph); fast enough to stay warm, stopping for clothing adjustments and bio breaks, when needed.  We will stay together throughout the trip.

Pouring rain and high winds will cancel the trip. Some rain and/or cold temperatures will not. It's the Pacific NW! Bring an umbrella if you don't want to get wet (in addition to your rain gear) and something to keep your seat dry at lunch. Warm clothes and hot tea are always recommended this time of year.   The trail can be muddy  in places.

We'll have a relaxed lunch (how "relaxed" will depend on the weather).
