Day Hike - Lena Lake

A late winter/early spring hike up to Lena Lake lets us appreciate all the greens of this hike along with some early spring color.

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,300 ft
  • Pace: 1.5 to 2.0 mph

Information about meeting place and time will be sent to registered participants two to three days prior to the hike.

Prepare to hike on a wet trail with waterproof boots, rain gear, trekking poles, and possibly micro-spikes.  As always, bring the Ten Essentials, lunch, water, and possibly a hot drink.  Unless there is dangerous weather forecast (high winds, heavy rain, snow) or dangerous road or trail conditions, we will venture out for this hike even in a light to moderate rain, which is highly likely this time of year.
