Day Hike - Kamikaze (Teneriffe) Falls

Discover a pristine alpine lake nestled at the base of two Cascade mountains at the end of a gentle, well-maintained trail through an old growth forest within easy driving distance from both Seattle and Tacoma.

Meet at  10:00 AM at the trailhead parking lot, reached from I-90 Exit 47 (Asahel Curtis/Denny Creek). Turn right from the off-ramp and continue 0.25 mile, then turn left on Forest Road 5590. You'll find the parking area to your right in 0.3 mile. 

Optional - Meet at the Bonney Lake Park and Ride (Sky Island Dr. E. & 184th E. - one block south of Hwy 410) at 8:45 AM to carpool or caravan to the trailhead , please let me know when I email more hike details where you will meet the group.

I will be bringing my black lab Raven on this hike so please make sure you are comfortable hiking with dogs before signing up.

Annette Lake is one of the premiere hiking destinations near Seattle and Tacoma.  It is within an hour's drive of both cities and provides a breath-taking view at the end of the pleasant hike in.  There is a restroom at the trailhead and an outhouse at the lake.  The Northwest Forest Pass or equivalent must be displayed by each car at the trailhead.
