Day Hike - Kalaloch to Ruby Beach
The Olympic Coast beaches are beautiful year round and in most types of weather. Join us for a day of beach exploration beginning at Ruby Beach and heading south to Steamboat Creek. After that we'll do some tide pooling around Ruby Beach and stop at some of the other beaches around Kalaloch as we head home.

Meeting time and location will be sent out a few days prior to the hike to registered participants. Plan on leaving Olympia around 6:30 a.m. in order to take advantage of a mid-day low tide.
Be prepared with water, lunch, and tall, water-proof boots, or two pairs of shoes - one of which will get wet. It is frequently windy on the coast, so an extra layer and warm hat is suggested. Details to follow in e-mail a few days prior to the hike.
