We'll meet at the Iron Creek trailhead, at the end of Forest Road 9714. This is about a 3-mile dirt road accessed off US Hwy. 97. Please arrive early enough to be geared up and ready to hike by 8 am.  Once registration closes, we will have the option of setting up other meeting places in order to facilitate carpooling.

We will depart from the Iron Creek trailhead at 8 AM, so please plan to arrive early enough to be geared up and ready to go by that time. We'll proceed to Iron Bear Pass and then proceed north on the Teanaway Ridge Triail to the summit of Iron Bear. Expect a sauntering pace as we stop occasionally to take in the views, snap photos, maybe ID a few wildflowers. This will not be a naturalist hike, however and the stops will not be terribly long. Bring poles if you have them, and be prepared for the possibility of snow and chillier conditions.
