Day Hike - Hugo Peak

We will discuss carpools if there is interest closer to the date.

Plan is to depart trailhead at 9:00am

This is a CHS hike for Olympia but is open to everyone starting on 4/2/24.

This is the first CHS hike of the year, so it's the first chance to test out pacing and gear.  We'll go at a slightly slower than moderate pace which should be about 1.5 miles per hour.  It'll be fast enough to get the heart pumping and the blood circulating, but we'll take plenty of breaks and have time to discuss conditioning and hiking strategies along the way.

The goal is to top out at Hugo Peak.  We'll likely take the 1000 road on the way back to the trailhead.
