Griffiths-Priday State Park is in Copalis WA. Meeting time and location will be sent to registered participants.
Approximately 1 mile walk through the dunes on a rolling sandy trail. The trail winds through trees and brush following the river at times offering views periodically. The trail will open up to tall grass fields where we'll use one of the many dune trails to access the beach. We will spend some time walking and exploring the beach, having lunch or snack before returning the way we arrived.
The route is friendly for most all ages being cognizant of distance and walking sand dunes. Conditions can be windy at times.
Hike leader may have family dog.

Day pack, rain coat, warm layers for windy conditions, snack/lunch, beach blanket or sit pads, towel, shoes appropriate for walking the trails and for wet toes in the ocean if you choose to.
Water and facilities are only available at the trailhead.
