Easy hike through the Coal Creek Natural area to Newcastle Beach park

Time:  9:30am

No parking pass is required.  Please remove all valuables from car as high theft area.

We will do a 1.6 mi loop through the Coal Creek Natural Area, then follow the Lower Coal Creek trail northwest to Newcastle Beach Park (2.5 mi) where we will have lunch before hiking back

We will go at a moderate pace (2 mph) with rest breaks as needed.  Bring lunch and plenty of water and dress in layers.  Hiking poles and waterproof boots are strongly recommended. 

For safety we will all hike as a group so please assess beforehand whether this distance/elevation gain/pace will suit you before registering
