10:30 at Chambers Creek Regional Park; Central Meadow Parking Lot; 6320 Grandview Dr West, University Place

From the Central Meadow parking lot we will take the 3.2 mile, paved, Soundview to Grandview trails.  No permit is required to park. The trail loops around the Chambers Bay golf course and is mostly out in the open which provides sweeping views of Puget Sound.  The pace will be approximately 2.5 miles per hour so that we return to the Central Meadow with enough time for a lunch stop before a walk on the North Beach at low tide (12:26 pm).

Restrooms are available at the meeting spot and about half way along the trail loop.  Rain and wind resistant clothing is required because of the open, exposed trail and sturdy foot gear is needed for the beach walk.

Directions and other trip details will be sent to participants after registration closes on December 3rd.

Trail map may be downloaded from the Pierce County Parks & Recreation web site. https://www.co.pierce.wa.us/1317/Chambers-Creek-Regional-Park
