Day Hike - Chain Lakes Loop

Chain Lakes loop is close to the mount baker lodge, so we can walk out the door and practically be there in a pristine area. The lakes are lovely and inviting, the views crystal clear and the flowers and wildlife good enough.

  • Moderate
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,600 ft

we will meet at the Mt. Baker lodge parking lot at 9 AM to begin. If anyone comes from Seattle they will need to arrange meeting at 6 AM. Participants are encouraged to stay at the lodge for this hike.

People who take this hike and stay at the lodge Friday night can participate in a stargazing event arranged by Rich Lawrence. Frankly, there are better hikes closer in to Seattle for a day hike from Seattle.
