Day Hike - Alaska Lake

Trip

Day Hike - Alaska Lake

A Fall color hike to a beautiful lake. The trail starts out easy, but becomes rugged and steep.

  • Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 13.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,024 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

North Bend, 7 :30 am

Hikers must be in good condition. The trail begins fairly easy, then enters talus fields and avalanche chutes. The last mile is steep. The fall color should be good this time of year. If heavy rain is forecast, it won't be safe and we will stay low or change trails.
