BEGINNER SKI TRIP! An easy, mostly flat classic ski trip for newer or returning skiers who have some cross-country experience. It is not suitable for first-time-ever skiers. No formal instructions will be provided. We will ski the The Road and Berg routes.

Cabin Creek Snopark at exit 63 off I-90 at 8:45 am, ready to ski out at 9 am. Sno-park Season Pass w/Groomed Sticker or Day Pass required for all vehicles.
- This is an opportunity to get back into our XC ski skills so will be at an easy pace with opportunities for a few stops along the way.
- We will ski for approximately 2 hours on The Road and Berg routes. Although the trip is mostly flat, please note that there are a couple of short and somewhat steep hills on the Berg.
- This will conclude the official Mountaineers trip but you are welcome to continue skiing on your own. Beth, our Assistant Leader for the trip, and I plan on skiing the intermediate Viking course and those who are comfortable tackling Viking and are able are welcome to join us.
- Classic skis should be no wider than 70mm to accommodate the ski tracks. No skate skis please.
- Please ensure your gear is in proper working order prior to arriving.
