Mercer Island P&R early in the morning.

Every year I like to get together with rope leads and basic students and others I have had the honor and privilege of climbing with throughout the season.  If you have received an invitation for this climb from me, please feel free to sign up.  We will do some crack climbing and sport climbing.  Should be a good time.

  • Active protection (e.g. 1 set of Black Diamond cams, size 0.4 to 3 or equivalent camalots)
  • Alpine draws (e.g. 6 sewn runners with 12 wiregate carabiners)
  • Self-braking belay device like Black Diamond ATC Guide or Petzl Reverso
