Oak Creek Wildlife Area parking lot 8 am.  

Trad crag climbing opportunity for all Kitsap Intermediates and Kitsap Leading on Rock instructors and students.  A chance to get in some late season climbing, see how we have progressed through the climb season from Tieton in spring 2023, and for new participants for the 2024 Leading on Rock Course to follow on trad. 

Location may move dependent on weather conditions.

  • Rockshoes
  • Belay Device
  • Rope
  • Personal Anchor
  • If you have it - Passive protection (e.g. nuts)
  • If you have it - Active protection (at least 1 set of Black Diamond cams, size 0.4 to 3 or equivalent camalots)
  • If you have them - Alpine draws (e.g. 6 sewn runners with 12 wiregate carabiners)
  • If you have it - Self-braking belay device like Black Diamond ATC Guide or Petzl Reverso
