Backpack - Ptarmigan Ridge

Hello, Friends! 

This place is really special to me as we get to camp in an amazing place with fantastic views. There is a very cold lake to explore, scrambling and playing with rocks. Goats, marmots, ptarmigans and pika abound, as do blueberries if we time the trip just right. 

It is 8 miles round trip, but I plan on taking them very slowly with my two year old daughter. I am also happy to have the group split with a faster group and slower group and I will mark off on the map where I would like the fast group to wait. 

There might be one spot with slippery snow and loose rock - I'll check conditions closer to the date. 

Blue bags/wag bags are required as this trip is located in the Mount Baker Wilderness and no human waste can be left behind.
