JP SIG Priority Climb

Camp at Eldorado TH on the night before the climb. Early rise and drive to cascade pass TH. Single day ascent for basic followers. Advanced permit pending via NCNP, leader & rope leaders will establish camp at Sahale Glacier camp for additional intermediate climbing the following day (Buckner & Horseshoe). Basic students with assistant leader escort will continue down Sahale arm back to the TH.

  • Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)

  • A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder

  • 6 straight gate carabiners
