This climb is intended as a 'thank you' for instructors of the 2024 Seattle Intensive Basic course.  Rope leads are welcome to reach out at any time.

This is the tentative itinerary:
Saturday, 7/6 - Obtain permits, hike to Camp Schurman area and set up camp
Sunday, 7/7 - 'Bonus' day; rescue systems practice, prep for summit day
Monday, 7/8 - Summit day; tear down camp and hike out

  • Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)

  • A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder

  • 6 straight gate carabiners
