3-day/2-night slow paced, early season Baker/Easton for Kitsap 2023 & 2024 students. (But be ready for a 2-day if weather dictates.)

Intended itinerary:
Friday - TH to camp at 7200ft via RR grade. (Bring water shoes for creek crossings)
Saturday - Rest, crevasse rescue practice, rope teams, early to bed.
Sunday - Alpine start, sunrise summit, down and out.

Required Equipment
- Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)
- Crampons
- An ice axe (not technical ice tools)
- A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder (recommend 10-15 for cold sleepers)
- A sleeping pad 4.5+ R-value (recommend 5+ for cold sleepers)
- A back pack (40 to 75 liters)
- Webbing and accessory cords (foot and waist prusiks, PA, runners)
- 4 non locking carabiners
- 4 locking carabiners, including one big pear-shaped locker
- Climbing harness
- Helmet
- Rescue pulley & "hero loop" prusik
- Picket with runner and non-locking carabiner
- Big puffy jacket and puffy or fleece pants (Big down or synthetic))
- Rain jacket and full-zip rain pants
- Warm gloves or mittens (2pr)
- Trekking pole/s
- Portable or solar power
Group gear:
Sturdy bomber mountaineering tent (sharing encouraged, but not required)
4 stoves
4 full medium cans of fuel (remember, we'll be melting snow for most of our water after the hike in)
4 water filters
2 In-reaches
Walkie-talkie system (leaders)
3 shovels
Extra water storage (to have water when we return from the summit)
3 glacier ropes (2 30m, 1 40m)
