The Brothers is a great skill building adventure that should have a lot of different terrain to throw at you: steep snow, loose rock, exposure, possibly some moat crossings, and hopefully some nice glissading. We will be working together as a team to navigate these. We'll all stay together at a moderate pace of 1000'/hr with 5 minute breaks once per hour.

We'll bring ropes, harnesses, and minimal climbing gear in case we need to set hand lines or do a quick belay, but my preference will be to find a route where they are not required. Since this is a basic alpine climb, it will not meet the basic rock or glacier credit requirements to graduate from the basic climbing courses. But it should be very fun, and these types of climbs always lead to great experiences.

In your leader permission request, please let me know your level of recent conditioning, past backcountry camping experience, and other basic-level climbs that you have participated in.
