This will probably be a 4 day trip - a day on the road (8-9hrs to the TH), and two days of climbing, then a day home again.  Leader will probably rent a car (splitting the cost), unless it turns out there's enough drivers amongst the party.  Basic climbing grads/Int students only, and please let me know what high altitude experience you have (Mt Adams or higher).  We'll pick either Avalanche Gulch or Casaval ridge (adjacent), depending on conditions, and spend a night at Helen Lake half way up.  This year looks like a high snow year in Northern California, so it may well be that late June will be better weather and still have good conditions. We will schedule this for two weekends (May and June) in the hope that the weather for one of them will be cooperative.

Note also, there's a summit fee ($25) and rangers will ticket anyone above 10k without such a permit.  More details will be forthcoming, and adjustments to dates are possible if a day earlier or later is more convenient for participants/weather.
