This is a one day Basic Alpine climb. Car camping at/near trailhead Saturday night is highly recommended.

All participants must be confident they have the necessary fitness for this one day climb. The Seattle 2016 Seattle Basic Climbing course fitness standard is to be able to hike Mt Si trail to the base of the haystack carrying 15% of bodyweight in less than 2 hours. (3150' gain and ~4 miles)
