A beautiful, strenuous and exploratory route on a peak normally associated with a very narrow scheduling window. This trip is being treated as a rock climb to help ensure our success regardless of the conditions we find. For folks fully vaccinated against COVID.

This trip to Double Peak will include an ascent of Main Cowlitz Chimney (scheduled as a separate trip to help with route/place flexibility).  It is anticipated that this will be a 3 day trip for both summits, with one day for the approach, a climb of Double Peak on the 2nd day, and an ascent of Main Cowlitz Chimney followed by our exit on the 3rd day.  Photos from past trips to this venue (Double Peak) can be seen here.
