This is a very strenuous climb for Everett basic climbing course students.
Previous backcountry and scrambling experience and excellent fitness condition are a must. The approach is one of the hardest of the basic climbs (~14 miles and over 5000 ft gain with much of it being a hardy of trail bushwhack). Total mileage is around 35 miles and almost 9000 ft gain.
When you contact the leader to ask sign-up permission (after 5/1/2024) please describe how your experience is meeting the requirements for this climb.
