This will be a challenging trip spanning over 4 days with 13,000 feet of gain. We'll hopefully get some great wildflowers this time of year while visiting this beautiful area. Leaders permission is required!

4-Day Route
Day 1: North Fork Sauk TH to Little Blue Lake 10.8 mi; 5295’ Gain; 2177’ Descend
Day 2: Little Blue Lake to White Pass 10.7 mi; 2485’ Gain; 1898’ Descend
Day 3: White Pass to Camp Lake - 13.4 mi; 4087’ Gain; 4188’ Descend
Day 4: Camp Lake to FS 49 (Lost Creek TH) - 10.6 mi; 2106’ Gain; 5989’ Descend 

*Includes 3 mile car shuttle from final Lost Creek TH to North Fork Sauk TH

Leadership permission is required. To be considered for this trip, please send me the following: 

  1. Conditioning you have done so far this year.
  2. Examples of other multi-day backpacks you have done in the past 2 years.
  3. Your favorite trail snack.

* Preference will be given to participants in the Seattle Intermediate Backpacking Course

Required Equipment

The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:

  • Tent with footprint/ground tarp
  • Stove and fuel
  • Sleeping bag
  • Sleeping pad
  • Water filter
  • Bear canister or extra stuff sack and cord designated for hanging food
  • Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
  • Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
