Trip Plan

Day 1

We'll gather at the trailhead at 9:00 am on Saturday. It's about a 4 hour drive from Seattle, so carpools will need to leave around 5 am. Pack the night before!

We'll hike at a comfortable pace for about 3.5 miles where we'll reach Copper Creek. Here it is imperative that you fill up with enough water for the rest of the day as there are no places to refill water past here. We'll continue another 4 miles until we reach Buckhorn Pass. Here we will stop and set up camp.

(Optional) Day 1 or 2

If the group is up for it, we'll put on our day-packs and hike along the ridge and up to the the summit of Buckhorn Peak. We'll decide as a group whether this is a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning thing.

Day 2

Breakfast, pack up camp and return to the trailhead.
