Backpack - North Fork Skokomish River
This is a mentored lead backpack for Justin Fuehrer. Easy overnight backpack trip. We will plan on staying at spike camp with optional day hikes around the area.

Drive US-101 to Hoodsport and turn west onto SR-119. Continue 9.3 miles to an intersection, turn left and drive 1.7 miles where the road becomes Forest Road 24. In another 2.7 miles, turn right and continue 1.2 miles to the Staircase Ranger Station and trailhead (875 ft).
We will plan on meeting at the trailhead at 8am to attempt an early start to get camp sites at spike camp and give us time for optional day hikes.

Required Equipment

- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
