The 3-day trip is in Mount Rainier national park. Two nights will be spent a Lake George. On Day 1, there will be a side trip to Gobblers Knob fire lookout. On Day 2, there will be a side trip to the South Puyallup River camp to view the andesite columns.

Day 1: Enter Rainier Nisqually Entrance to access trailhead at end of Westside Road. Hike in to Lake George. Set up camp. Take side trip to Gobblers Knob fire lookout.
Day 2: Day hike to South Puyallup River camp. View andesite columns.
Day 3: Break camp and head back to cars.

The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:
- Tent with footprint/ground tarp
- Stove and fuel
- Sleeping bag

- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
