  • Mileage: 13.7 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,700 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 2,000 ft
  • Pace: 12-17 (average pace)

Time/Date: 0800 on June 29th

Distance: 13.2 miles

Location: (-121.67808, 47.86708) Meet at the Wallace Falls trail head which is by the Wallace Falls State Park Campground.

Directions: In Goldbar, take 1st street and then take a right going East on May Creek Road. May Creek Road will turn into Ley Road. Take Ley Road North (straight) all the way close to Wallace Falls State Park.

We plan on staying together and waiting on each other at trail junctions. We will run clockwise after viewing the small waterfall and then take the main trail (Greg Ball Trail) to Wallace Lake. We will take the same trail we took to get to the lakes back, and loop back to the trail head.

Participants should be capable and have the ability to run a half-marathon distance without stops. On this run, we plan on minimal stops. We will most likely be stopping for hydration, bathroom needs, snacks, and sight seeing.

We plan on leaving no trace while on our run.

Pace: This will be an easy, moderate paced run between 12-18 min miles (average pace). The pace will fluctuate based on elevation and technicality.

Come see some waterfalls, join in on some comraderie. There will be some folks who are planning on climbing at Index afterwards.

Preparation: Bring your own water/hydration, snacks, and clothing based on weather and your personal running preference. A Discover Pass is required for visitors.
