7:30 AM at the Ira Spring/Mason Lake trailhead

This is a fun loop scramble of Putrid Pete's Peak and Mount Defiance.

Not very technical as the route is mostly a trail or boot path. Some route finding and scrambling required on the traverse of Defiance Ridge.  We will take the Mason Lake trail on the return part of the loop. 

This trip will go rain or shine.
