Alpine Scramble - Mount Ruth

White River Campground at 0700.

Carpools will be arranged by planning email if desired.

This trip will depend on road access, which is expected to open May 26 weather permitting. If it does not open on schedule, I will select a roughly equivalent alternative.

Students are welcome, but ideally you will have already done another snow scramble before this trip.

All participants must be well conditioned with a recent ~4000 ft elevation gain day. Mailbox with a weighted pack is a good option. This trip has a lot of uphill snow travel and high elevation of a 8500ft summit making it very strenuous.
