Alpine Scramble - Guye Peak/East Route

During week scramble looking at forecast currently sunny 44F. This will be totally depend on forecast. This awesome little T5 rock scramble right up in Snoqualmie Pass can be done with a relatively late start and a short day -- it sports some potentially intimidating exposure but is replete with lovely enjoyable rock moves that reward the skilled adventurer.

The group will leave the PCT/Commonwealth Basin TH (trail pass required) at 9 am on Thursday, Nov 8.  Reach this TH by taking the first Snoqualmie Pass exit (West Pass, Exit 52), take a left at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, drive north under the freeway, and then take your first right up to the lower PCT parking lot.  

Car pooling may take place at a closer-in PnR or other meeting place around 8 am.  Leader will forward details once roaster is final.

 Do bring your helmet and harness/descent gear and the other usual scramble pack and ten essentials.  Bring your camera.  Bring your lunch.  Bring your ice ax.  See you there!

Note, this trip is not safe if the steep forest slopes and rock are wet, so if the forecast is forbidding, the trip will be cancelled.  Currently, the forecast is mostly favorable: Partly sunny, with a high near 44 .
