Alpine Scramble - Grindstone Mountain
Primary objective is Snowgrass Mountain but plan to scramble Grindstone on day 1 then on to Lake Edna to camp. Snowgrass, Cape Horn, and possibly Ladies Peak then all the way out on day 2. This will be a very strenuous outing.

This will be a long and very strenuous outing - very solid conditioning and the ability to travel efficiently at a moderate pace on and off trail is required.
High Level trip plan
Day 1
Hike Chatter Creek trail to point where Grindstone scramble route begins, drop overnight gear off trail. Complete Grindstone scramble, pick up overnight gear, and hike to Lake Edna and establish camp. Note there is a transition to the Icicle ridge trail along the way.
Day 2
Scramble Snowgrass Mountain, possibly Ladies Peak, Cape Horn. Return to camp, pack up and hike out to trailhead.
