Quasi exploratory -- made an attempt of Governor's Ridge earlier in the summer. With improved beta and more familiarity with the correct route, I think we'll have a good chance of success. We will start at the Owyhigh Lake trailhead, hike to Owyhigh Lake and then directly up to the Governor's/Barrier saddle. We will scramble Governor's first and Barrier second before coming back out from Owyhigh Lake.
Plan for a little bushwhacking, some fairly steep loose rock on the way up to the saddle, and then we'll scramble up to Governor's Ridge. Super fun!
Prospectus to be sent to participants on Sunday 9/5
