Various P&Rs to accommodate attendees, then 8am at the White River entrance for a last use of restrooms. We will then caravan a short distance to Fryingpan Creek trailhead (which fills up quickly).
Expect a full day of travel in the mountains, including time to practice and refine the skills you just learned in class.
All participants are expected to take part in navigating, route finding, and decision making.
I am considering a loop trip, with ascent by way of the east ridge to maximize views. This will depend on snowpack (and river!) conditions.
Priority for students in the Seattle branch compressed alpine scramble course because of their limited time between class & experience field trip.
