7-9pm in Goodman B/C (main auditorium upstairs, with the indoor climbing wall)
For this meeting, we will be having a Backpacking Bazaar! A group of MAC volunteer extraordinaires will be presenting their own gear set-ups for backpacking. They will be going over Water Carrying and Hydration, Ultralight Gear, Bear/Critter Protection, Backpacking Stoves/Mess Kit, Socks/Blisters + Sanitation, Packing a Pack, LNT and other topics.
Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about their own setups or gear they may want to purchase and learn from some very experienced outdoors-people.
Required Equipment
Students should always bring their personal indoor climbing gear to meetings if they have some (climbing gear is available to borrow at the meetings, as well) as well as some note taking materials.
