This trip is part of the MAC Summer trip. Meeting place and time TBD.
- Depending on the snowpack and snowmelt, this trip may hit early season wildflowers in full bloom or may include snow travel with microspikes (and opportunity for glissading). MAC participants have experienced both snow and wildflower bloom in previous years.
- Early season can include bugs so DEET or picaridin bug repellent as well as bug head nets are strongly recommended.
- Note that we will be reviewing pack and pack weight the evening before and I will weigh your pack. Ideally total backpack weight should be no more than 30lbs or 20% of your body weight.
- Optional group shared dinners will be offered.
- Garibaldi Regional Park offers tent pads, composting toilets, bear poles and shelters for cooking. Anticipate tent sharing on this trip.
