Seattle Junior MAC Climbing - Vantage (Frenchman Coulee)

Join us for a day of climbing at a local crag!

All participants driving in the Mountaineers' van will meet at the SPC by 6:45 am  to leave by 7:00am.  If you are driving separately, we will meet at the Main Parking Lot (with the bathrooms) around 9:45 am.

  • Carpool signup. If you plan on driving, please offer open seats to other students.
  • Getting There: Take Exit 143 for Silica Rd. off the I-90.  Take a left onto Silica Rd., and then in 0.8 mile take a left onto Vantage Rd.  The Feathers climbing area is the first parking lot about 1.3 miles down Vantage Rd. on the left, and the main parking area for the rest of the Vantage climbing areas is just a little further on the left. 
  • Discover Pass required for parking.

  • Land Acknowledgement:

    We will be recreating on the lands/waters of the Moses-Columbia, Wanapum, and Yakama  people, who live here and steward these lands and waters as they have since time immemorial. The Seattle Mountaineers Youth Clubs encourage you to recreate mindfully and respectfully on our upcoming trip to these native lands.

  • 9:45am - Meet at the parking lot
  • 10:30 - At the crag ready to climb
  • Lunch at the crag
  • 4-4:30pm - Pull ropes
  • 5:00pm - Depart for Seattle
  • Potential for dinner stop on the way back
  • 7:30-8:00pm - Back in Seattle
