Seattle Junior MAC Climbing - Exit 38

Join us for a day of climbing at a local crag!

  • Easy

All participants driving in the Mountaineers' van will meet at the SPC by 7:30 am  to leave at 7:45.  If you are driving separately, we will meet at the Parking Lot at 8:30 am.

  • Carpool signup. If you plan on driving, please offer open seats to other students.
  • Getting There: EXIT 38/DECEPTION CRAGS

    Take Exit 38 off of I-90 east from Seattle and follow signs for Olallie State Park, a right turn from eastbound I-90. Drive ~0.5 mile to the gravel parking area on the left (1,220 ft).

  • Discover Pass required for parking.

Jr. MACers will spend the day climbing outdoors!


  • Trip Sheet: Trip Sheet will be posted within the 2 weeks prior to the trip.
  • Weather: Wunderground, NOAA
  • Guests: If spots are still available one week prior to the trip, email Farm to request that a friend or sibling be able to join.
  • Land Acknowledgement: We will be recreating on the lands/waters of the Pacific Northwest Indian Tribes, including the Snoqualmie, Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla, who live here and steward these lands and waters as they have since time immemorial. The Seattle Mountaineers Youth Clubs encourage you to recreate mindfully and respectfully on our upcoming trip to these native lands.
